Quirk Ride

One of my easy as pie pleasures allows me pedaling out my dirt driveway to a multiple choice of close by fire road climbs. The Edison Road climb requires a short pedal through town, Frazier Park my home, a quirky miniature mountain metropolis. I love this place void of fast food, traffic signals, & cookie cutter housing tracts. Getting to & fro the start of the fire road climb allows me to shuck & jive through some short streets with hidden cottages & array of diverse homes. Quite the quirky place, onward to the mountain.

Looking toward the top of the climb about two thirds up Edison Road

Looking back down towards town

The view towards Lebec & Interstate 5

This climb makes its way from town up & away toward Lebec. Not my favorite climb, but a nice one & offers a quick heart rate increase & panoramic views.

The short but sweet single track on the way back down

Then through town for a quick cool down jaunt back to the house. Making my way through the multiple optional routes arouses my curiosity about this sundry spot in southern Cal.

One of many dirt roads through town. Connect them to make for an in town MTB ride.

These are signed residential roads. Just around the corner ahead you can look up at the house in the next pic.

Like the sign says, For Sale, listed at 199k with a priceless view

Another cute cottage with a mindful message.
